Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of Breast Self-Examination among Janitors at Public University Malaysia

Breast cancer is the most prevalent form of worldwide including Malaysia. self-examination recommended as a screening method for early detection breast cancer. The purpose this cross-sectional study to determine level knowledge, attitude and practice among janitors at Health Campus, Universiti Sains A descriptive was conducted by using simple random sampling, total 74 female were recruited into study. Data collected self-administered questionnaire consisting sociodemographic characteristic towards self-examination. Among participants, 29% (n=22) have good knowledge regarding self-examination, 91.9% (n=68) positive 51.4% (n=38) high There no significant association between shows practices socio-demographic This crucial because it will provide healthcare professionals data, they need design an effective public awareness campaign that could result in diagnosis treatment, which might improve survival patients.
